Product Description
The Electric Motorcycle Lithium Battery Pack Assembly Line is a complete battery pack manufacturing solution designed for cylindrical lithium-ion battery packs used in electric motorcycles, electric two-wheelers, electric scooters and other light electric vehicles.
The production line combines battery cell grading, insulation protection, cell sorting, polarity inspection, nickel strip spot welding, BMS testing, battery pack performance testing, heat shrinking, coding and aging processes into an integrated manufacturing workflow.
By combining battery testing and assembly equipment, the line helps manufacturers improve production consistency, reduce manual handling and establish a more standardized battery pack production process. The equipment configuration can be adjusted according to battery cell type, pack structure, voltage and capacity requirements, production capacity and automation level.
Electric Motorcycle Battery Pack Assembly Process
Step 1 – Battery Cell Grading: Individual lithium-ion cells are tested and graded according to electrical performance such as voltage and capacity. Cells with similar characteristics can then be grouped together for pack assembly.
Step 2 – Insulation Paper Sticking: Insulation paper or other insulating materials are applied to the required areas of cylindrical cells to provide electrical isolation and additional protection during pack assembly.
Step 3 – Cell Sorting: The tested cells are automatically or semi-automatically sorted according to preset electrical parameters and grouping requirements.
Step 4 – CCD Visual Inspection: The CCD inspection system checks the appearance and polarity of cylindrical battery cells, helping identify incorrectly oriented or abnormal cells before welding.
Step 5 – Battery Pack Spot Welding: Qualified cells are arranged according to the battery pack design and connected using nickel strips through resistance spot welding.
Step 6 – BMS Testing: The assembled battery pack is connected to a BMS tester to verify protection functions and electrical parameters according to the selected BMS configuration.
Step 7 – Battery Pack Comprehensive Testing: The finished pack undergoes electrical performance testing to check voltage, current and other specified parameters before final packaging.
Step 8 – Heat Shrink Wrapping: The battery pack is covered with insulating PVC film and processed through the heat shrinking system to create a neat and protective outer layer.
Step 9 – Batch Coding: Production information such as batch numbers, dates or identification codes can be printed on the battery pack for production management and traceability.
Step 10 – Battery Aging: The completed battery packs undergo charging/discharging and aging tests to verify their electrical performance and stability before shipment.
