The Main Production Process of Lithium Batteries

The production goal of the middle process is to complete the manufacture of the battery cell. Its essence is the assembly process. Specifically, the (positive and negative) electrode sheets made in the previous process are assembled in order with the diaphragm and electrolyte. Due to the different energy storage structures of square (rolled), cylindrical and soft-pack batteries, there are obvious differences in the technical routes and production line equipment of different types of lithium batteries in the middle process.

 

Specifically, the main processes of the middle process of square and cylindrical batteries are: winding, liquid injection, and packaging. The equipment involved mainly includes: spot winding machine, electrolyte injection, rolling press machine, sealing machine, etc.; the main processes of the middle process of soft-pack batteries are: stacking, digital filling , and packaging. The production goal of the back-end process is to complete the formation and packaging. By the middle process, the functional structure of the lithium battery cell has been formed. The significance of the back-end process is to activate it, and after testing, sorting, and assembly, it will form a lithium battery product that is safe to use and has stable performance. The main processes of the later stage are: formation, capacity division, testing, sorting, etc. The equipment involved mainly includes: battery charging discharging tester, battery cell testing equipment, etc.
